Slack vs Discord- Pros and Cons

Today I want to show you two apps that are very useful for intra-group communication. I think that most of you know what do these apps make. For that, I won’t speak about the usage of these apps but I will make a comparison.
Which is Better?
That's a hard question to answer and I won't answer it. (😉) Because they have different usage areas. Discord is mainly made for gaming but Slack is mainly for project development and community leading.
But this doesn't mean that you can only use Discord for gaming and Slack for project development. You can use both of them in every intra-group communication you want.
Features
Menu and UI

I can say that Discord has a better UI and it allows you to change the menu design how you want but it is a bit confusing for starters because there are so many features to learn.
Video Call and Screen Share

Both of them have a screen-sharing feature. You can use video calls for making mini-meetings and interviews or only for chatting with friends.
İntegrations

Both of them have more than 200 integrations but in this case, Slack is better. Because it has much more integrations than Discord and it is easy to manage. (The image above shows some of the Slack integrations.)
Pricing
Slack Pricing

Slack’s free features are enough for little and passive group members. But if the group uses Slack for project development pro is ideal for them.
Basic: Free
Pro: $6.67/mo*
Business: $12.50/mo*
Discord Pricing

Discord has a feature named Discord Nitro. Discord Nitro is $9.99 per month and it lets you use features like:
- New emojis
- Personal Profile
- Larger Uploads
- Supporting Server
- HD Video Streaming
My Thoughts
I like Slack more than Discord. I don't know why but using Slack feels smooth, professional and confident.
