The world is growing and the needs are changing. For receiving these needs many startups are launching in different industries.

Some of them grow fast and become big companies but the others fail and get closed. These days there are so many huge startups and they are categorized by their worth( billion $).

What are these categories? How they are named, let’s see!

1.Unicorn

Unicorn is used for describing a startup company with a value of over $1 billion. This term was first used by venture capitalist Aileen Lee in 2013.

Printful _ $1.2 Billion

Duolingo _ $1.5 Billion

Udemy _ $2 Billion

Reddit _ $6 Billion

2.Decacorn

Decacorn is the word used for those companies over $10 billion.

Epic Games_ $27.8 Billion

SpaceX_ $74 Billion

Telegram _ $30 Billion +

Etsy _ $23.49 Billion

3.Hectocorn

Hectocorn is the word used for those companies over $10 billion.

Stripe _ 95$ Billion very close to become a hectacorn

Ant Group _ $150 Billion

Disney _ $130 Billion
